Sam’s specialties:

-Postpartum moms returning to running after pregnancy

-Runners balancing training within the fullness of the rest of life

-Athletes exploring a new distance in their running journey

As a very energetic child, Sam wanted tried all the sports. It wasn’t until middle school when her friend asked if she would go out for cross country instead of volleyball that she discovered how much she actually liked to run. She loved it mostly because it was something she could do with her friends, allowing her to be outside and use up a lot of the energy she had. She ended up running all throughout high school and then collegiately at UW-Eau Claire where she was a cross country All-American and met her now husband, Matt.

Since then, she’s ran 8 marathons, several half marathons, 5ks and 10ks all in very different stages of life. Having had a few wonderful coaches herself along the way, Sam believes the best quality a coach can have is being able to meet you where you’re at and provide you with the best support possible, especially on days you need it most.

In her free time, Sam loves a good long run to catch up with friends, drinking lots of coffee and going on neighborhood walks with her baby, Rory.

Now that you’ve gotten to learn a bit more about us, we’d love to hear from YOU!
